WGBH is proud to host Academy Award winning sound designer Mark Mangini who will present a talk and film screening at WGBH’s 4k Yawkey Theater on September 28th.  At this special event, sponsored by Avid ProTools and Rule Boston Camera, Mark will discuss the process of designing sound for film using scenes from the Oscar nominated Blade Runner 2049 to illustrate his methodologies. All guests are invited to stay for a screening of the feature film BLADE RUNNER 2049 (2:44) with its stunning 7.1 surround soundtrack.There will be refreshments provided before the event and an opportunity to see Mark’s Oscar for Mad Max Fury Road.  Tickets are required for this event.
